Indonesia futsal team won against Malaysia with score 3-2 through penalty shootout.

With this winning, Indonesia came out as the third winner and deserved for bronze medal.

The game was held in POPKI Cibubur Sports Hall, East Jakarta, Tuesday (11/22).

Since the referee blown the whistle in first round, Indonesia immediately attacked Malaysia using Four Play strategy.

The first goal finally scored at the minutes 19 by Hairul Saleh Othorella.

Score 1-0 lasted until the first round ended.

Five minutes after the second round started, Indonesia team captain Vennard Hutabarat added another goal for Indonesia at minutes 25.

However, 2 minutes later (27) a suicide goal done by Socrates Matulessy changed score to 2-1 for Malaysia.

And at minutes 30, Harif Pagilah Khairul Rizuan tied the score to 2-2 through strong kick.

But the score did not last long because four minutes later, Hairul Saleh Othorellas kick managed to torn Malaysias goalpost which guarded by Mohd Firdaus Razali.

Score 3-2 for Indonesia lasted until the game over.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the game was running quite rough.

It is proven from many fouls done by both teams.

In first round, both teams done two fouls, while in second round Indonesia done two fouls and Malaysia five fouls.

Referee Kim from Korea gave two yellow cards (keeper Mohd Firdaus Razali and captain Mohd Haris Muizuddin) and a red card (Abdul Kadir Qaiser Hesham) who are all from Malaysia.

This rough game also can be seen when the referee blown the whistle stating the game was over, Indonesia keeper Ahmad Surya was down in front of his goalpost and had to be stretchered out of the field to get medical treatment.

Indonesia team captain Vennard Hutabarat admitted quite satisfy with this achievement although only won bronze medal.

For us, this is a perfect end of competition and winning.

We are satisfied with this achievement, stated Vennard who will pension after this SEA Games over.

Meanwhile, Indonesia team coach Robby Hartono said his players played over-confident.
