All Sports win again at Lebanese Futsal Championship September 12, 2011 01:03 PM By Fouad Akl The Daily Star BEIRUT: In the fourth round of the 2011-12 Lebanese Futsal Championship, league leaders All Sports took down the ISF team 9-4 at the Emile Lahoud Stadium Sunday.

All Sports looked to remain undefeated ahead of their much anticipated clash with Sadaka in the next round, who also won their first three matches of the league.

The two leaders scored the same number of goals – 24 – so far in the competition but All Sports are ahead because of their tight defense that has conceded just two goals, while their rivals have conceded five.

At the start of the game, the leaders looked much more energetic and organized, as they took an early 2-1 lead, just seven minutes into the half.

All Sports then tried to make their lead more comfortable but they were out of luck as they hit the post on three occasions, in addition to a large number of opportunities saved by the ISF goalkeeper, who put in an impressive performance.

The situation remained the same, just until the 17th minute, when All Sports were finally able to find the back of the net for the third time after a non-stop attacking performance and then scored a fourth goal with 30 seconds to go as a one-sided first half ended with a score of 4-1 in favor of the league leaders.

In the second half, All Sports started just as they finished the first, dominating possession and scoring a very early goal only after 45 seconds to make it a four-goal deficit.

But their opponents came back quickly to score their second goal of the match one minute later.

The winning side didn't rest on their lead, as they immediately hit back with two straight goals to make the score 7-2 in their favor with 12 minutes to go.

The ISF then tried to make the lead a little more respectful, as they got two more goals with three minutes left in the game.

However, this was not enough as All Sports ended the match victorious with a final score of 9 – 4.
